Grant Desk

Know which door to knock on.

A paid day class on grants — overview of the whole stack. Pay first. Then ~10 hours of access over 12 months.

Who it’s for

Nonprofit and arts leaders who need to stop guessing which funders to chase — and how to show up ready when they do. Not a free DIY dump. Not legal counsel.

Curriculum — Overview day

  1. Finding grants

Where money actually lives. Fit vs chase. How to stop applying to everything.

  2. Building a case

Need, goals, and outcomes funders will buy. The story that makes an ask land.

  3. Budgeting

Ask size, match, allowable costs. What goes on the form without blowing the room.

  4. Small grants vs capital campaigns

Scale, proof, and when the ask is the wrong size for the org.

  5. Incorporating / readiness

When structure (or the lack of it) blocks money — and what “ready” looks like before you write.

  6. Hiring a grant writer

When to outsource, what a good engagement looks like, and what you still own.

  7. Running a grants program

Calendar, compliance, reporting — how wins don’t die after the check clears.

What’s included

$250 pay before materials; Day class (overview above); ~10 hours resource/coach access over 12 months (capped).
